Michael Vick is a boundary-pushing guitarist and composer known for his work with fretless guitars and microtonal/xenharmonic tuning systems. He has performed with diverse ensembles including the American Festival of Microtonal Music, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, and at major events such as the Spoleto Festival and NYC Fretless Guitar Festival (which he founded). A seasoned touring and recording artist, he has collaborated across experimental, jazz, and electro-acoustic projects. Michael also serves as an educator, having developed and taught “Tuning Systems & the Aural Experience” at Furman University for over 15 years, and co-founded Microtonal University, a global platform for innovation and dialogue in microtonal music.
